I do believe the game will ultimately turn out to be a Michigan win, but a very tough win I expect as well.
San Diego State has turned into a powerful program, due in large part to our favorite coach “Brady Hoke”. He was a big factor in turning around the Aztec program. With his foundation in place, this is a very dangerous team.
In 2010, the Aztecs went 9-4 losing tough games on the road at Missouri, BYU and TCU. All those loses were under five points. San Diego also won three games on the road and capped the season off with a blow out 35-14 win against Navy in the Poinsettia Bowl. This year they beat Army in their first road game and bring a 3-0 record into Ann Arbor.
Point being, San Diego State is a good road team and they should be able to keep this game close.
The Aztecs are 24th in the nation in rushing yards-per-game (averaging 221) behind Ronnie Hillman, who is second nationally with 497 total yards. That should eat up some clock to keep San Diego St. in the game.
Michigan is giving up 343 yards-a-game themselves, but the defense as a unit is playing much better then last year and as a team the Wolverines have a +6 turnover margin on the season.
In this game “Danny Dee Sawicki” is looking at another Michigan win, but the San Diego State Aztecs will cover the 10 ½ points.
SAN DIEGO ST + 10 ½ is Danny Dee Sawicki’s B1G Pick of the Week. So says Danny Dee Sawicki.
Last Weeks Pick: Temple +10 against Penn St. (WINNER)
Season Record: 2-0-1
