DeVeon Smith picks Michigan over Ohio State
The 5-11, 210-pound Smith (per Scout) is rated as the 7th best running back for the position and the 58th overall prospect in the class.
Another recruit and another kid from Ohio. And word on the street is Smith even had an offer from Ohio State.
The Smith family has a tradition of playing for Big Ten schools as DeVeon’s eldest bother Maurice played college football for Michigan State and his other brother Lance chose Wisconsin.
Smith makes the second running back commitment to be added to the 2013 class for Coach Brady Hoke.
