Is if there were any question really, but now the ESPN sports network has made it official today by announcing that its highly popular ESPN’s College GameDay Built by The Home Depot roadshow will be in full effect down in Texas for the 4th annual Cowboys Classic on September 1st.
Of course playing in that game will be Brady Hoke’s own Michigan Wolverines and they’ll be facing the daunting challenge of the defending national champions and the Nick Saban coached Alabama Crimson Tide.
The last time the flagship college football program was in attendance for a Michigan game — as most fans will recall — was only a season ago Under the Lights in Ann Arbor and they were witness to one of the most historic comeback victories in the history of the Wolverine football program when Michigan defeated the Notre Dame Fighting Irish in the closing seconds to earn a dramatic 35-31 win.
Parent company ABC has the game that night which being billed as Saturday Night Football presented by Windows and is scheduled to kickoff at 8:00 p.m. on an ABC channel near you.
