Brady Hoke’s Michigan Wolverines moved up two spots to 17th in the most recent Associated Press Top 25 poll after their 31-25 victory over the Air Force Fighting Falcons on Saturday.
The win was earned mainly on the legs and arms of Wolverine quarterback Denard Robinson who returned to prior form and managed a combined 426 yards of total offense with four touchdowns (2 running, 2 passing).
The Wolverines started the season rated as the 8th best team until the game played against Alabama in the Cowboys Classic to open the season. That 41-14 loss dropped Michigan down to 19th.
Michigan has the (0-2-0) Massachusetts Minutemen coming to Ann Arbor this weekend.
