The Michigan Wolverines advanced on to the Sweet Sixteen in the 2014 NCAA March Madness tournament after their impressive 79-65 victory over the Texas Longhorns on Saturday.
The Wolverines led by as many as 18 points twice, once in each half. Michigan shot as a team 44% from the field and they converted on 14 of their 28 three-point attempts. That total is a new Michigan team tournament record.
Senior Jordan Morgan put up his second double-double of the tournament with his 15 points and 10 rebounds. Nik Stauskas led the Wolverines with 17 points and contributed 8 assists. Glenn Robinson III and Caris LeVert also scored in double-figures, 14 points each.
