Dedicated to the leader and best of the leaders and best, Brady Hoke!

T-minus 25…25 passing touchdowns

25

If asked to choose your favorite quarterbacks in Wolverine history, there are certain names to come to mind most immediately. And like with any “best of” discussions, that conversation would be a good one.

For today, Elvis Grbac (#15) is one of those players.

Besides Grbac’s capacity for passing efficiency — of which he sustained throughout his college career — Elvis also set a Wolverine single-season record throwing 25 touchdown passes in 1991. He would hold that record alone until 2004 when a man named Henne matched him.

Chad Henne (#7) himself was only the second ever true freshman quarterback to start from day one at ]V[ichigan. He would use that extra playing time to obtain a few more Wolverine records of his own before he was done.

Both quarterbacks excelled when given the opportunity.

In 25 days, opportunity waits anew…
