In the Gator Bowl in 2010 – the last game of the Rich Rodriguez era – Denard Robinson completed 27 of 41 passes for 256 yards and two touchdowns.
The 27 completions are the most for Robinson in a single outing and ranks as a tie for 8th best in Wolverine history.
Unfortunately, the Wolverines lost that bowl game in historic fashion 52-14.
If Brady Hoke’s Wolverines are to be successful in 2012, offensive coordinator Al Borges will need to find the perfect balance for Robinson to keep the defenses off-guard.
In 27 days, Denard Robinson gets to prove one more time that he is more than just a running back that takes direct snaps from center and he gets to confirm to everyone that truly he should be considered one of the greatest ever to play the position in Ann Arbor.
If you have as much faith in Denard as I do, show me so by leaving a comment right now. Go ]V[ichigan!
