The injury news continues for Brady Hoke and his Michigan Wolverines so far in the 2012 fall camps as the school reported today that red shirt freshman offensive lineman Chris Bryant will miss the 2012 season with a fractured tibia.
Freshman linebacker Kaleb Ringer — who recently underwent successful knee surgery — will also receive the redshirt and will be lost for the year.
Both players were not expected to start nor contribute significant minutes this season. Although in Bryant’s case, he does put some pressure on an already thin rotation. Youth will really need to play above their age on the offensive line this year if the Wolverines are going to be strong up front.
Recently, freshman defensive end Chris Wormley tore a ligament and he too has been lost for the season.
